The Realkey Cross Belt Sorter is a state-of-the-art solution designed for the effective handling of a variety of items, including parcels and cartons. The carts are arranged in a continuous chain along a track, moving in parallel to form a mainline that intersects with the cart belts, giving rise to the name "Cross Belt Sorter." Items can be loaded onto the cart belts either manually or automatically, and as the carts approach specific sorting stations, the control system activates the belts for precise sorting.

Available in both circular and linear configurations, these sorters are engineered for high throughput. Circular models can achieve speeds of up to 2 meters per second, processing as many as 22,000 items per hour, while linear models can reach speeds of 1.5 meters per second and handle up to 8,000 items per hour. Such systems are widely utilized in industries that require high efficiency and multi-directional sorting, including express delivery, e-commerce, apparel, food services, cosmetics, airports, and pharmaceuticals.
